Supported Countries
WaldenPay is available worldwide: signup requires only an email address, and the card works anywhere Visa and Mastercard are accepted — 150M+ merchants across nearly every country. The exceptions are the restricted jurisdictions listed below, where accounts cannot be opened and cards cannot be issued.
How availability works
Two different questions decide whether WaldenPay works for you:
- Where you sign up and load the card: supported globally except in the restricted jurisdictions below. You need an email address and cryptocurrency on any of 35+ supported networks — no bank account, no residency paperwork for standard use.
- Where you spend: the card is issued on the Visa and Mastercard networks, so it works at any merchant that accepts those networks, in local currency, worldwide — including through Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Service availability remains subject to onboarding, eligibility checks, regulatory requirements, and partner availability. See about us for how our licensed partner model works.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a bank account in my country?
No. The card is funded with cryptocurrency directly, so it works even where international bank cards are hard to get — that's exactly the problem it solves for users in markets like Nigeria, Pakistan or Argentina.
What currency does the card spend in?
The card balance is held in USD; Visa and Mastercard handle conversion to the merchant's local currency at network rates when you pay.
My country isn't in the popular-markets list. Can I still sign up?
Yes — that list is illustrative. If your jurisdiction is not on the restricted list, you can sign up with an email address and get a card in about 10 minutes. See how it works.
Can the restricted list change?
Yes. Sanctions programs and partner requirements evolve; we update this page when they do. The "last reviewed" date above reflects the most recent check.
